I . . . had no idea . . .
This is a meme that's been going around FB. Since I don't post to FB very often, I thought I'd post it here. The jist is, go to urbandictionary.com and do a search on your name. The first one, regarding the etymology of my name, I already knew. But the rest of it sort of came as a surprise.
1. The name Felicia (a Latin female version of "Felix", meaning happiness) is associated with saints, poets, astronomical objects, plant genera, fictional characters, and animals, especially cats. There are several versions of flowers named after Felicia which include, felicia elongata and felicia filifolia. Both are very beautiful flowers to match the very lovely and beautiful name of Felicia.
2. A great girl and amazing friend!!! She's really pretty and she's always there for you.......and she is really smart!! She's the bestest friend you'll ever have!
3. Felicia is the ultimate B.A. (badass) of words. Felicia is synonymous with ninja, pro (not the first definition), and mega maxable(example a). Used to simply describe something as badass, beautiful, or completely pro. Can also be used as a verb to describe the ultimate owning of something (example b).
So, I'm . . . a ninja? When did that happen? I guess Dean and I have that in common? Bzuh?
