It's been a long time since I've waxed poetical about Jensen Ackles, but the man is as delightful and amazing as ever. SPN won Favorite SciFi Show at the PCAs, and Jensen and Jared were there to accept the award. They were, of course, accompanied by their beautiful wives, and they all looked smashing.

There are beautiful photos all over the place of Jensen and Danneel looking well near perfect, and if you look for Jared and Gen, I LOVE Gen's dress.

Throughout the years I find myself repeating the same question over and over again: Jensen Ackles, what are you wearing?

Edit: I just looked at the party link and OH MY GOD, the boys coordinated their outfits. They are such delightful dorks.

I have several thoughts on Jensen's ensemble that I have yet to share. I read several months ago that oxblood was going to be the next big color trend. Then I read a blurb that called his suit "oxblood," and I thought, "Ah! Trendy." Not real sure I like the cut of the suit in some photos, but whatever. It's the glow of happiness that pulls the look together. :-)

Not only did the guys coordinate, but all four of them did! I love Gen's dress (not so much her shoes), which matches Jensen's suit. Jared accented his suit to coordinate with his wife (and Jensen), and Danneel's gold goes with anything, and her make-up (lipstick, polish) go with Jensen's suit. (I suspect that a stylist might have had at least a little bit of a hand in it, since this was a big national broadcast. Of course, it is possible that Danneel and Gen are just that awesome style-wise, dressing their husbands and all.)

Jensen and Danneel have been mentioned on many best-dressed lists, so the non-traditional color choice got him some good positive buzz on the entertainment sites.

Nathan Fillion also gave Jensen a shout-out during his acceptance speech for Best Actor in a Dramatic TV Show.

If I'd remembered that the show was on, I might have DVRed it. But it's been years and YEARS since we've watched an awards show of any kind.

Fillion did? I watched his speech online but don't remember that at all! Oops.

I agree on Gen's shoes. Too heavy for that ensemble. But now I'm picturing all of them hanging out and giggling over outfit choices. Oh, those kids.

Yeah, I watched it on-line, too, on the PCA site. He said something about just finding out that his brother Jeff voted for Jensen. (Would loved to have seen Jensen's reaction to that.)

Have you seen Danneel's shoes, though? Really great, except for I would kill myself in them. (I twisted my ankle at least two times yesterday for no apparent reason. As one does.)
