Oh, I'm sure they would never have gone THERE, but it was really interesting to watch the interplay between the actors. Jason trying to hold onto his girlfriend and "normal" and sanity, and Genevieve manipulating her son and playing on his doubts and insecurities. And at the very end, if you can see through all the cheese, Jason is so freakin' desperate. It would have made for a intriguing, and very dark storyline.

And quite frankly, there were some places where Jensen/Jason gave me the creeps.
