Scene 3 is done

Okay, so tonight I finished converting the third scene of my story. I've also come to what I consider the end of Act I. Fifteen pages (give or take). Now comes the part that has been perplexing me for months. My characters are on their way so see a play, and I don't know what play they're going to see. It needs to be something that's in public domain (Shakespeare would be good), something that has a really good role for a man in his mid-30s to early-40s.

I also need to start researching tourist and residential information for Vancouver. Help? Suggestions?

Hey, any chance I can see your adapted scenes soon? Or would you rather work it through first? I understand if you'd prefer that (I often do). But yay for progress!

As for a play...wow. There are quite a few Shakespeare plays with roles for that age man. Tragedy, comedy, or dramedy? :-)

And if you have specific questions re: Vancouver, email me and I'll pass them on to Kim?

Most big cities have a Web site now to promote tourism, or if not, you can write/call the city government for tourist brochures and other information. That's how writers did it old-school, before the 'Net. Also, if you're on any writer forums, ask if anybody lives there and will answer questions.

Good to see you making progress. Keep on!
