A Thank You for the 100th ep

Jensen, here, says something that I just love. He calls it his work and his art. That last one? Gets me right here *taps fingers over heart*. Because it's more than a job to him. It's an art. And it so totally is. And I so miss being a part of that art. And he is such an amazing artist.

A previous favorite actor (whom I won't name, but those who know me know who I'm talking about) was a very good actor. I was so impressed and taken with his ability, in much the same way I am with Jensen. But he approached acting as a job, and lacked the passion for the art. We in my group used to say that he was very lackadaisical, which somewhat endeared him to us, but at the same time, he didn't seem to have the passion for his career, for his art, that I find so attractive in my favorite actors. In that regard, Jensen is far more in keeping with my pattern of why an actor catches my attention.

I love that Jensen sees acting not only as a job, but as an art. I just . . . do.

Also? Jim Beaver cracks me up!

I don't know who that actor was but ITA about Jensen and i was happy to hear him say that too.

The other actor was from a fandom I was in several years ago. He's sort of disappeared from my radar--no movies, no television shows (except one guest spot I didn't know about until after the fact), etc.

Oh, YES! I saw it! It was so in time! I had a very bad day and everything looked bleak and then that vid showed up and there was i all happy and smiling. Gawds, what this man is doing to me :)
