SPN trivia
I know that this has probably been a point of discussion at some point, but I consciously noticed it today, and I found it interesting . . .
In "Sin City," Sam claims the bed closest to the door. Actually, Dean enters the room first and goes directly to the bed farthest away from the door. Is this the first time we've seen Sam take the "protector's" bed, so to speak? Or have we seen this earlier? I believe (though I'll have to keep track) that this is a continuing trend throughout the season. (I'm certain that in Mal Mal, Sam takes the protector's bed).
Veddy interestink . . . and not surprising considering the turn the story has taken at this point.

Oh, you're absolutely right. Dean totally has lock-picking skills. In fact, in "Provenance," when they break into the auction house, Sam is the one who disables the alarm, and Dean picks the lock, and I was thinking, "Dudes, you're doing it backwards. Dean, you're the one who's all electronic gizmo smart, what with your homemade EMF detector. You should be disabling the security system. Sam, you're the one who always has your lock pick set with you; you should be picking the lock."
But either way, one of my favorite things is when the Boys are being all "smooth criminal." "Provenance" is an excellent example of that.
As far as Dean being the one to sleep in, I think "Mystery Spot" sort of debunks that. In "Phantom Traveler," Dean is still in bed, but it's only, like, 5:30 AM, so I don't think that's a fair indicator of his being hard to get up in the morning. In MS, he's up and dressed at 8:00AM, and Sammy is still sawing logs until the radio alarm goes off.
However, I will go along with the idea that Dean is a sound sleeper, what with as many times as Sam has snuck out on him. Ya know? :-)

Hee :) Sometimes i get that felling too :) I think John trained them with similar skills - that one can always support the other but it's fun to think that Sam (for example) is better with locks and Dean is with kicking :) But i'm glad they show us here and there that Dean is good with electronics too cos it's canon (yes, EMF detector).

I love scenes like this :) Like the beginning of 219 when they're in museum :)

Hee :) I know and i don't say he's sleepinf beauty all the time (well, he is beauty no matter if he sleeps or awake but i digress). i base his ability to sound sleep on the fact that when they're at motel they use protection (like salting door and windows) and he never nkow for sure when he get another decent sleep so he uses save time to sleep through it and be ready to hit the road again and be in good shape.
And Dean trust Sam that's why Sam can easily snick out on him undetected. that's all my theories of course :)
