I should be keeping a journal
I should be keeping a journal of my gig as house manager. Those of you who've been here long enough know that I LOVED my job as assistant house operations manager at the PAC back in Ohio. I hated leaving that job. And after five years of being an executive assistant, I'm now house managing again. Yay!
I've held four volunteer orientations.
Tonight we had our soft opening. I am exhausted and my feet hurt. But things went well. My concession folks had a really good time. One of the volunteers told me I can put her anywhere because she's not scared anymore. Heh. Everyone seemed to have a good time, and I've been told that my volunteers are very sweet. And apparently I did a good job, too.
Tomorrow is the grand opening. Bruce Hornsby. Sold-out house. Should be a really good show.
