I love Bad Day! For one Gordon! How I love Gordon. For two Kubrick! Ahh- He was the awesome! I totally would have watched a SPN Spin-Off of the Gordon and Kubrick Happy Fun Hour! Kubrick's friend who insists on eating at Big Gersons (Famine's favorite hang out!) and Kubrick so matter of factly saying he likes that they drop the whole onion in the fryer. It's jut those little details that make me squee. It makes the hunters human, moreso than the Road House gangs who were always just sitting around cleaning their guns. I even liked the friendship between Bela's goons. Someone had FUN writing this episode! But of course: "I Lost my Shoe!" that will never not be funny! And Dean: "I'm Batman!" HEE! I loved his utter glee at taking out the baddies with a pen and a remote control. Poor Sam takes such a whumping- and yet, this is a truely delightful episode. Sorry Sam! And I agree, Bela COULD have been an interesting character. As it was- she's just a hateful thing (And I love Gordon and Meg!) Bela rubs me wrong because of her utter selfishness and greed. There't nothing about her I can find to squee about. Not even the fact she's a cat person! Nope. No Bela love EVER!
Lilith? Ya know. At this point it could be argued that yeah, she was trying to angle things her way. Lucifer was still in the cage and maybe she had an inkling that that last seal meant her death. Maybe she was out to stick it to the Big Boss Man. I could almost respect her for that... even with her Dean killin' ways. But the reality- I doubt Sam = Lucifer's meatsuit was on the drawing board at this point in the writer's room. So anything Lilith did they could work as she's just a MEAN LITTLE GIRL!!!
Sin City and Bedtime Stories, they're ok. Not huge favs- but both with fun moments and very revealing moments. They just don't stay with me for some reason. Hard to comment on them. Poor Sandy!CRD though. How odd this show killed off both Jared's girls. Hmm...
