Been considering . . .

I've been thinking recently, that when I get my weight down, rewarding myself with a navel piercing. Haven't decided yet (I've got time, trust me), but Geo does not approve of the idea. He says they freak him out.

This is the first 4th of July I haven't had to work in the past couple of years, so we're in Ohio this weekend for the 4th of July/Independence Day activities. At my Bro's place right now, getting ready to head to the parents.

Girlyghoul? I know I still owe you an entry regarding the skit I did last week. I will do that this weekend. *thumbs up*

Yeah, this is one of those things where you have to decide if the benefits outway the pains. I've never been a fan of the things personally. In fact, I cheered the scene in Land of the Dead when a zombie ripped some girl's piercing out because I was so tired of the trend. That was a handful of years ago, though and now they nay have come full circle to being unique again. So the pros would be- you obviously have a notion about getting one, you can have multiple accessory options and it might make belly dancing that much more fun! The cons, like sarcasticval said are having to clean and maintain the area (can get infected), not bumping into stuff or having it snag on your clothes... and zombies may want to rip is out if it ever comes to that.
Much to ponder.

Say howdy to your bro, my cous and the folks for me!! Hope you have a great 4th! Margaret's back and we may go out later. I've been so sick, then busy lately that the 4th kind of snuck up on me. I get Monday off too, but again, didn't make many plans. Gonna be a play it by ear kinda weekend WHEEEEEE!

Take care!

Dingdingdingding!!! That's usually when the thought occurs to me--in dance class, when my top rides up to flash some belly, I think, "Hey, I should get a belly button piercing. That would be sparkly and cool."

Now, whether or not that actually makes the piercing worth it is another story.

I've never really been one for permanently marking my body, particularly just to keep up with a fad. When I got my ears pierced, I spent years swearing I'd never do it, then one day at the swimming pool, I saw a girl wearing a really cute pair of earrings, and I thought, "I want to get my ears pierced." And I had to do it soon; otherwise, I would have changed my mind.
