I thought it might be Andreas, so I found it. I already knew that spoiler, but the circumstances depicted in the photo have me intrigued.
And of course, fandom is (loudly) complaining about it already.
I watched "Hell House" last night. Those were the days. Boys teasing each other. I even liked the Ghostfacers back then. And wow, did it look good on my new TV! (My dad bought me a 40" Sony Bravia.)
I suspected you probably already knew about the casting. :-)
I . . . have no use for fandom wank. I kinda liked Adam, in a peripheral sort of way. And Jake seems like a very cool guy. So I'll be very interested in seeing him back. (Oh, I should probably go put a spoiler warning in my entry.)
What I think could be really interesting (and would cause fandom to implode on an epic level)? If Adam had been a sister. Here's my reasoning: We know how both Sam and Dean react to and interact with having a brother. We haven't seen either one of them with a sister. Jo was the closest, and I liked that vibe with her and Dean, but Jo wanted more back then. I'd like to see them with an an actual "We have a little sister?" type of thing going. Ya know? (No, I don't read sister fic. I'd prefer to see he on Show rather than in my fic.)
"Hell House" is one of my fave eps, and one that I showed my mom when I was showing her my new favorite TV show. It's got everything--interesting case story, nifty twist, banter, action, stand-alone for newcomers, the whole enchilada.
I might do that again this summer--re-watch all my DVDs.

Have you been to the CW and seen the promos there? Number three, number three left me flailing madly.
Some days I think a large percentage of the fandom just exists for the wank. If they can't complain about *something* they're not happy. *sighs*
But yes: I liked Adam. I'll be glad to see him back for a few scenes, and see what Dean has to say to him (assuming it's the real Adam and not another of Zach's constructs).
"Hell House" was fun to revisit. What always gets me about those S1 eps is how YOUNG Jared looks. (Jensen too, but the difference isn't as marked.)
