Jensen and his comic genius

Because Jensen is quick with an ad-lib and totally into the comedy of Dean, they had to go back and reshoot a scene:

I especially love this because I have no talent for improv.

Seriously, if I ever got to meet this man, I just might pass out from the awesome.

I couldn't hear the very beginning -what scene were they talking about?

The question is something about what animated character are you or would play you, or something like that. Jensen points to Jared and says, "Spongebob Squarepants . . . or Gumby." To which someone shouts out, "Does that make you Pokey?" Referencing the line in "The Kids Are Alright," where Dean is talking about Gumby Girl, and his afterthought, "Does that make me Pokey?" Which was a Jensen ad-lib at the last minute.

Which is one of the reasons I love him as a performer. He cracks me up with the performance, then when I find out it's a Jensen thing rather than a strictly Dean thing, it makes me love him all the more. *draws sparkle hearts around Jensen's comedic self*

That was a cool moment.

Did you see the sneak peek on iTunes. It's pretty funny. I know you don't like spoilers, but it's nothing major, and very worth the snicker.

Indeed I did watch it. Highly amusing. :-) (And, yeah, nothing spoilery . . . because I think we all already know that Jared has a very nice build.)

My client is running late, so I'm being chatty.

I was watching the vid where Jensen is talking about the Captain America rumor. I found it interesting when he said it would likely go to some big name actor, and not some guy from the CW. His body language? He seemed so... at peace about it. Acceptance, you know. It wasn't like he was doubting his skills, just accepting how the biz worked. I don't know how to describe it. I wish he could have expanded on it some.

I know exactly what you mean. Very . . . zen . . . with himself and his place in the entertainment industry. I personally think--and this is just me, because as you know, I don't know the guy--but I personally think that he has zero interest in becoming a big-name star. I think he's more interested in projects he's interested in than projects that will forward his career. Which is fine by me.

Which is good and all (probably makes his life much less stressful), but he would make a pretty stellar young Captain America. I'm just sayin'. :)

I won't disagree with the comics expert. :-) I just kinda hope that this will lay those rumors to rest. It gets tiresome, ya know?

I missed a part that it was ad-libbing.

This is awesome! I just logged on and it was the first vid i saw - perfect and totally made my evening.

Where he says that he didn't do it on his coverage (when they were shooting him), but he thought of it at the last minute and said it when they were doing Jared's coverage. Thought of and tossed in at the last minute. :-)

And the director liked it so much that they went back days later and re-shot the scene (in a different location) to get Jensen's close-up of the line.

Ha!
