I'm there with you on the Scorpius love. I thought it was interesting how Crais immediately became more interesting (to me, anyhow! *g*) when they shifted him left of Villain Central. That one scene of John on the floor outside Crais's cell, weeping, for the first time really confronting Crais and showing him how much damage he'd done. Brilliant. I loved Crais's whole story arc from the moment Scorpius became the main adversary. And he was never a simplistic villain. The dual turn of Scorpius/Harvey? Sublime. Would it be fair to say that Crais became a kind of anti-hero, instead of a villain? And while Scorpius was certainly villainous at times, he was far too complex to be simply a villain? Perhaps the perfect example of how everyone's the hero of their own story ...
