Question:

What does it mean when a fandom is reduced to wailing "Oh, boys," flailing and/or flappy hands, then hugging said boys and never letting go?

Just curious . . .

Either Jensen or Jared have done/said something in RL that is wonderful/touching. Or the Winchesters have done/said something on the show that is wonderful/touching/moving.

You are coming at this from a much more positive perspective than I was feeling at the time. :-) Because I always like hearing good stuff about the boys. But I know not of anything new in that regard.

Other than the fact that the release of a Jared interview apparently put some inflammatory speculation in perspective. Which is for yay.

Ok, I have not seen that interview or the inflammatory speculation as I tend to avoid spoilery stuff.

Actually, I have been accused of wearing rose-colored glasses as I sit here on the fringe.

Well, long story short--and keep in mind that I don't go looking for spoiler or wank, so I found out about this via someone saying not to discuss the spoiler in her vicinity--but a few weeks back, one of the entertainment/gossip correspondents let out a spoiler that had a goodly part of the fandom in. A. Tizzy.

But a couple days ago, [livejournal.com profile] janglyjewels posted an interview with Jared that revealed the actual wording of what was said . . . which in no way implied the the columnist said. There was this big, "Oh, was that what she was talking about? That's not anything like what she said."

I've actually heard this particular spoiler put out as a theory for a long, long time, and I really don't expect Show to go there. In fact, I would be extremely disappointed if they did.

But Boys doing or saying something kind/touching/funny/etc. . . . that's always a good thing. 'Tis why I love con clips. :-)
